How Does Rejuvenation Skin Lab Treat Skin Irregularities in Richmond?
We utilized color-blind technology to treat irregularities across all skin types. Both energy-based and light-based modalities work well in addressing pesky skin issues.
The Skin Classic High-Frequency Machine uses high-frequency energy to dehydrate irregularities so they will fall off. It is excellent at treating the typically stubborn condition of Sebaceous Hyperplasia, as well as quick DPN treatments, Milias, Cherry Angiomas, Skin Tags, and Fibromas.
Another option for treatment is the Aerolase Laser which uses light to attack the color within the irregularities to get them to slough off. It is perfect for treating a larger surface area at once if there are a lot of imperfections. It is excellent for Spider Veins, Liver Spots, Warts, Brown Spots, Angiomas, and more.
When you come in for your initial consultation, your practitioner will recommend which modality will best address your skin.
What Does Treatment Feel Like?
Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us. We exercise specific techniques to ensure the process is as comfortable as possible. Both targeted energy and light can feel like little stings on the skin. No numbing is necessary, and it’s very tolerable. The sensation is only felt for a moment as the area is being treated. Men and women alike do well with both modalities of treatment.
How Often Do I Need Treatment?
Many times, irregularities are gone within one treatment, but they may need up to three. When treated, these irregularities will not grow back; however, you may develop new ones. A once-a-year touch-up treatment is recommended to keep your skin nice and uniform.
Which Treatment Should I Book?
We recommend each new client start with an Advanced Skin Analysis & Consultation appointment for the most comprehensive overview of your skin health and options. If you are geared up to get started right away, we instead recommend booking the Skin Classic Skin Irregularities option for smaller areas or for skin-colored irregularities or an add-on to other facial treatments. For larger areas of irregularities, we recommend booking the Aerolase Laser.
