Patients dealing with unwanted hair often experience discomfort or embarrassment around these pesky areas. Finding a safe hair removal solution that works can be frustrating, but luckily, our trained experts are here to help with the latest in hair removal technology, Aerolase laser hair removal treatments!
Aerolase Laser Hair Removal treatments efficiently and permanently reduce hair growth with little to no pain. These treatments can applied to both easy and hard-to-reach areas of unwanted hair, such as the underarms or areas along the back.
The Aerolase is a 1064nm laser with a 650-microspeed pulse duration – which is shorter than the thermal relaxation time of tissue surrounding the skin.
Okay, but let’s take a second. What does this all mean?
This means we can quickly and effectively deliver the energy to the hair follicle without overheating the surrounding skin tissue, which equates to effective results and comfortable treatments for our patients!
“I went from shaving daily to shaving once every two weeks. I’ve even noticed a significant difference in the darkness under my arms! Which is a big deal because of my traditionally dark, Armenian hair heritage.”

Is laser hair removal painful?
Our clients describe it as warm puffs of air with the occasional tender area.
Is this safe for skin of color?
Yes, Aerolase is safe for all skin types, from the lightest of light to the darkest of dark.
How soon can I expect to see the results?
Results can be seen as soon as after the first treatment, depending on how much of the hair was in the anagen stage during treatment.
Is laser hair removal only for women?
No, men can have laser hair removal too. We can even help treat the ingrown folliculitis from shaving.
Is there any down time?
No, we just ask that you refrain from heavy strenuous exercise for 48 hours post treatment.
Is self tanner approved for laser hair removal?
Skin cannot be actively tan or have self tanner in the area of treatment. Self tanner can be applied a few days post-treatment.
Is it okay to get waxed while doing laser treatments?
We ask that during treatment you shave only. No waxing, plucking, or depilatory creams (i.e. Nair). We are only able to treat the hair present during each treatment and by shaving only, as it keeps the hair cycling naturally.
What is the before care and after care for the laser treatments?
Before any treatment we ask that you shave the night before or the morning of prior to treatment.
After treatment, we will apply an aloe lotion and then ask that you shave again 2-3 days post-treatment. A gentle washcloth exfoliation can be done in the shower.
How often would I receive the treatments?
Treatments are typically scheduled every 4-6 weeks depending on the area being treated.
How long do the treatment results last?
Think of laser hair removal as a permanent hair reduction. By the end of your series you can expect to see between 80-90% reduction. 100% hair removal is not medically possible, so this means you will only see a few fine hairs in the area that was treated. If you are on hormone replacement therapy or have hormonal imbalances or shifts, the hair follicle can be stimulated and hair can regrow with these changes.
Am I allowed to have sun exposure after laser treatments?
We ask that the area being treated is not actively tan at the time of treatment. After treatment we ask that you avoid heavy sun exposure in the area for about a week.
Can we start treatments at any point in the year?
Yes, we can begin treatment at any time. With that being said, if it is summer and sun exposure is unavoidable, we can pause treatments. Treatment may resume once the skin is no longer tan.
